On the occasion of Chinese New Year, African Union of Broadcasting (AUB) Director General Grégoire Ndjaka extended warm congratulations to China Media Group (CMG) and its affiliates, praising the exemplary, dynamic and constructive cooperation developed between the two organisations over the past year.
Speaking on behalf of the AUB President and the Union’s 85 members across Africa, Mr Ndjaka said joint initiatives with CMG and CCTV Video News Agency (CCTV+) had contributed to strengthening Africa–China relations and improving mutual understanding between their peoples.
He noted that AUB’s 20th anniversary provides an opportunity to look to the future and deepen the strategic partnership, particularly in training, co-production and media innovation.
The AUB Director General renewed the Union’s commitment to closer cooperation in support of intercultural dialogue, peace and friendship between China and Africa.
